An INSO partner can be any non-profit organisation with humanitarian operations in INSO countries.
To be eligible for INSO services anywhere in the world, your organisation must meet all of the following criteria:
  • Be exclusively* constituted as an NGO/Non-Profit in the original country of establishment (home country)
  • Be legally registered, or in process of registering, as an NGO with the Host Government of the country for which you are applying
  • Agree to abide by the INSO Code of Conduct for members
  • Be actively operating, or planning to be operating, in the country for which you are applying
*Non-profits closely linked to ineligible entities, such as for-profits or political parties, are ineligible for INSO services. INSO reserves the right to decline registration to any applicant, including non-profits, who INSO considers to pose an undue risk to its charitable assets or reputation.
If your new organisation is already an INSO member, you will need to apply as for a new user account in your new organisation profile via your list administrator.
If your organisation is not yet registered with INSO, the executive director or the highest-ranking security official at your organisation may apply with us. That person will need to provide your organisation’s information, documentation and accept our Code of Conduct. Once the organisation is registered, organisation employees can become INSO members under the umbrella of that organisation.
If your email address has changed and you are still employed with the same member organisation, you can update your address via your Organisation Profile.
INSO publications are sometimes automatically denoted as junk mail by spam filters. Please check with your network administrator to ensure that INSO emails are not being routed as junk mail and to ensure proper delivery.
To subscribe/unsubscribe from INSO products, log into the INSO Partners Portal, locate your email address and then click the Edit button. On your User Profile page, under the Distribution Lists section select your subscription settings.
Only the Country Director/Head of Mission of the organisation can manage your lists. CD/HoM can also designate List Administrators to make necessary changes.
A maximum of three (3) List Administrators can have access to their NGO's list to make necessary changes. However, approvals of changes are internal and at NGO's level decided by CD/HoM.
